Trouble in Terrorist Town: An Essay

Trouble in Terrorist Town is a gamemode in the Sandbox game Garry’s Mod 10, in the game there are two “teams”, the Innocents and Detectives versus the Traitors.  There are about one Traitor for every four Innocents and one Detective per two Traitors.  The goal of the Traitors is to kill all of the Innocents, while the goal of the Innocents and Detectives is to kill the Traitors.  The Innocent do not know who the Traitors are, the only person they can identify are themselves and the Detectives, The Traitors can identify everyone and know who to shoot and who will help them shoot.  The Detective can use his special tools to gather extra information to find the Traitors such as a DNA scanner and the ability to see who the dead last saw.  As you play you are able to use voice and key chat to accuse other Terrorists and to prove your own innocence.

These traits all come together to create a beautiful mix of death, destruction and social engineering to make Trouble in Terrorist Town one of my favorite games.
