Luigi's Mansion: 3spooky5me

On Friday we played Nintendoland, the main attraction of which was the mini-game based off of Luigi's Mansion. This game demonstrated the concept of asymmetric multiplayer, or multiplayer where different players are granted dramatically different abilities. Think about how this game pits four players against one, yet still feels balanced through the lone player's different abilities. Think of another idea (Or existing example) of asymmetric multiplayer in video games and explain how it could be (Or is) Balanced around the vastly different tools players are given to work with.

Tom Bissell Article

1. One thing that I would be interested in was the beginnings of gaming and how they were first made and developed. He mentions how video games were in the beginning I would just want to know about how because of how far they have come today.

2. I believe it was a combination of both inform and describe what his feelings were. In the article it is talked about how the beginnings of gaming were and the progression that the author was able to experience through out his gaming career. The author also talks about how gaming can be used for different things, for example being used as a literature piece and the pros and cons that would arise when thinking of it in this type of context.

Playing against other people helps me in many ways. It helps he because I know that we are equally knew to the game. With us both being equally knew it helps me feel that I may not be the worst player at the game so I wont have as much anxiety while playing unlike I would if I was playing with kids I don't know. This helps me realize that I may actually be better so I try a little more because it is competition but it still makes me feel good even if I win or loose. This is why playing with other people you know is a good way to learn.
